Our founding creative director Gaile Guevara is a believer that design can help provide a meaningful connection between people and their environments. Born in Calgary, Alberta during the 70's from immigrant parents whose desire was to find a better life for their children helped shape a perspective about what home means to everyday people. Over a span of 16 years, Gaile brings a depth of knowledge built through her passion of connecting like minded creatives.

Gaile Guevara an interior designer & creative based in Vancouver, BC with an extensive background in residential interior design and vision focused projects in commercial, office, and retail concepts. While completing her interior design degree at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, Gaile began her career working with BC's leading multi-family residential developer Polygon Homes. Early days of working with an extensive private art collection to a growing appreciation of building communities - Her experience grew from an entry level position to learning to build systems management with a growing team. The follow-up to a quick learning curve, Gaile saw the value of collaboration while under the mentorship of minimalist interior designer Donna Toppings. From multi-family developments to then developer's own homes, Gaile learned the value of design to be more than just aesthetics. A commitment to searching extensively the best possible solutions for clients led her to travel and explore New York. Opportunity to connect with some of New York's best leading designers inspired her to bring her passion for design to purpose.

Since early days of her career, Gaile has been fascinated by the connections built between the people she has had an opportunity to work with. With over 15 years of experience, she brings her passion for design and a love of connecting clients with creative talent into each project. Guevara has a growing online following of over 275,000 followers on Pinterest and over 6 million page views on Flickr. More recently, Gaile has had the privilege to be invited to bid on large-scale projects equal caliber to those of her industry counterparts, her ability to connect is often referred to as a genuine interest to helping serve the better of her community.

Distilling an interior to its purest elements - the entire space becomes a concise expression for the client's love of what is beautiful.

I have the ability to create an appreciation for something beautiful. Through the process of design, I help provide a platform where people can experience an edited understanding of value beyond the product. A thoughtful curation of a details paired with the visual storytelling that transform the ordinary into something worth taking notice of simply because every moment counts. The energy invested into each object we surround ourselves with is just as important as the time wasted. Why not only surround ourselves with what matters and what we know means something beautiful to us.

It isn't till more recently when my mother was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's and our journey as a family opened my eyes to just how much the subtle details most people take for granted become so integral to how we live. I can thank my mother in teaching me through this journey just how much more my job has become less and less about the work and more about sharing my gift. While most people come to me because of my strong aesthetic vision or opinion, I work with you because I care. If an opportunity presents itself that you want an interior that is meaningful and are open to learning what design can bring to your life beyond just the pretty stuff, then we may be a perfect fit. I ask a lot of questions and hope that by the end our work together, what we do is no longer temporary or trend focused ... what we do together on a project is create real purpose to what we do and how we live. We invest the time it takes to ask why more often and our team is here to help you with the how.

I believe people can live with a lot less and love a lot more. I use my toolbox of interior design and creative to bring you new insight on values of living with what you only really need so you can appreciate the details. Time is our most valuable luxury.
